PaoPao is a social app designed for pet owners. Create profiles for your pets, connect with other pet parents nearby, organize pet-friendly events, and share moments with your community.

To sign up, you need a valid invitation code. Enter your full name, email, phone number, choose a username, and provide your invitation code. After verifying your email, you can start setting up your profile and adding your pets.

Invitation codes are shared during our beta period. Ask a friend who is already on PaoPao, or request beta access on our homepage. We release new codes regularly as we grow the community.

Yes! PaoPao is completely free to use. There are no premium tiers, subscriptions, or in-app purchases at this time.

PaoPao is currently available for iOS (iPhone). Android support is planned for a future release.

You can add as many pets as you have! Each pet gets its own profile with a photo, name, species, breed, birthday, and optional details like microchip number and allergy notes.

Yes. Go to your Profile tab, tap on the pet you want to edit, and you can update any information or delete the profile entirely.

PaoPao supports all kinds of pets — dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, fish, reptiles, and more. If your pet species isn't listed, you can enter it manually.

You can search for users by username or search for pets by name in the Contacts tab. You can also scan someone's QR code to quickly view their profile and send a friend request.

Send a friend request from someone's profile. You can include a personal message. The other person will see your request in their Contacts tab and can accept or decline. Once accepted, you'll appear in each other's friends list.

Yes. You can block a user from their profile or from your friends list. Blocked users cannot message you, see your profile, or send you friend requests. You can unblock them at any time from Settings.

Every user has a unique QR code on their profile. When you meet someone in person, they can scan your QR code (or you can scan theirs) to instantly view the profile and connect — no need to exchange usernames.

Moments is PaoPao's messaging feature. You can have one-on-one conversations with friends or group chats with multiple pet owners. Event chats are created automatically when you organize a social event.

Yes! From the Moments tab, you can create a new group chat with up to 20 members. You can also name the group and set a group avatar.

Swipe right on the conversation in the Moments list and tap "Leave". Note: if you're the host of an active event, you cannot leave the event chat until the event has ended or been cancelled.

There are two types:

• Personal reminders — Private reminders for vet appointments, grooming, medication, etc. Only visible to you.
• Social events — Pet-friendly meetups you can invite friends to. Automatically creates a group chat for all participants.

When someone invites you to a social event, you can respond with "Going" or "Not Going". If you RSVP "Going", you'll be added to the event's group chat. If you change to "Not Going", you'll be removed from the chat.

As the event host, you can edit event details (title, date, time, location) or cancel the event. Cancelling sends a notification to all participants via the event chat.

You can set a recurrence (weekly, monthly, or yearly) on personal reminders. This is displayed as a label — each occurrence is not generated automatically yet.

Discover is where you can share photos and updates about your pets, see what friends are posting, and find nearby pet owners. You can like, save, and interact with posts from the community.

Tap the + button on the Discover tab. Write your text, add up to 4 photos, and tag at least one of your pets. Posts are visible to other users based on your privacy settings.

Yes. In Settings, you can toggle your profile visibility. When set to private, only your friends can see your full profile and pet details. Non-friends will see limited information.

Contact us at contact@altbyte.com to request account deletion. We will remove your personal data within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use Row Level Security at the database level so users can only access their own data. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
